Abstract

Urological symptoms are common in patients with multiple sclerosis and significantly affect their quality of life and psychosocial wellbeing. Close collaboration between neurologists and urologists is crucial for effective management and prevention of complications such as urinary tract infections or renal impairment.

This article presents a dialogue between a neurologist and a urologist, structured around the latest European Association of Urology (EAU) 2025 Neuro-Urology Guidelines. It summarizes current recommendations on diagnostic evaluation, pharmacological and interventional treatment, and preventive strategies for urinary and sexual dysfunction in MS.
