Abstrakt

Deficyty neurokognitywne są osiową cechą procesu schizofrenicznego. Wśród tych deficytów upośledzenie pamięci operacyjnej uważa się za podstawowy mechanizm otwierający bramę do zachorowania na schizofrenię. Niektóre regiony mózgu, takie jak kora przedczołowa i hipokamp, są krytycznymi obszarami dla pracy pamięci operacyjnej, a ponadto wykazały związek z deficytami w przebiegu choroby.
