Abstract

Nowadays, impaired attention is considered to be a fundamental neurocognitive deficit in patients with schizophrenia. Neurocognitive tests revealed that, during performance of attention tasks, the activity of patients with schizophrenia differed from that of controls. The schizophrenia group displayed reduced range of attention, its low flexibility, accuracy, selectivity as well as perseverance comparing to control groups.
