Dear Readers,

We are in the eighth month of a pandemic that has completely changed our lives. Today, many forms of medical education that require personal participation (conventions, courses, trainings) are practically unavailable. Despite this difficult time, medical journals (online or in print) are gaining in importance. Therefore, I would like to encourage you to read the third issue of our journal.

In Diagnostics section, you will read about the possibilities of ultrabiomicroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. This technique is still not very common in Poland so, we hope, you will find it very interesting.

In Conservative Treatment section of you will find articles discussing the treatment of blepharitis, Fuchs endothelial dystrophy, the use of anti-VEGF agents in the retinopathy of prematurity, and one article about an innovative method of treating early bleb failure after trabeculectomy with bevacizumab eye drops.

An article discussing the treatment of congenital glaucoma written by one of the world's most famous specialists in glaucoma, prof. Franz Grehn from Germany, opens the section of Surgery and Laser Therapy. Other articles in this section are devoted to modifications of the phacoemulsification technique in cataract surgery, ultrasound ciliary plasty in glaucoma treatment, and the use of laser therapy in retinal diseases.

The last article in the third issue of OphthaTherapy, written by our colleague from Portugal, discusses the role of social media in ophthalmology.

I wish you a pleasant reading and, above all, stay healthy during the pandemic.
