Abstrakt
Stosowanie niesteroidowych leków przeciwzapalnych (NLPZ) to jedna z najczęstszych terapii w chorobach narządu ruchu, w tym w reumatoidalnym zapaleniu stawów oraz innych układowych chorobach tkanki łącznej. Zarówno tradycyjne NLPZ, jak i koksyby zwiększają ryzyko działań niepożądanych ze strony układu pokarmowego i sercowo-naczyniowego. Zagrożenie to można zmniejszyć poprzez odpowiednie oszacowanie czynników ryzyka oraz stosowanie najmniejszych dawek krótko działających NLPZ przez jak najkrótszy czas. U chorych z podwyższonym ryzykiem sercowo-naczyniowym lekiem pierwszego wyboru powinien być zawsze naproksen.
