Abstract

Recent clinical trials and European registries show that amount of patients with NSTE-ACE and different co-morbidities is still growing. More than 30% NSTEMI patients are aged > 75 years, many of them are suffering from diabetes mellitus or chronic kidney disease. The clinical presentation of ACS in such patient is often atypical and risk of side effects of medical treatment is high. In this article, authors present new guidelines of ESC for management of ACS in special population of patients with NSTEMI.
