Abstrakt
Przeprowadzono przegląd metaanaliz i przeglądów systematycznych dotyczących bupropionu opublikowanych w latach 2020–2025. Spośród znalezionych 135 publikacji wybrano 25 opisujących aktualne i potencjalne zastosowania tego leku w psychiatrii. Bupropion jest szczególnie wartościowy jako uzupełnienie leczenia przeciwdepresyjnego w zakresie zwiększenia skuteczności (poprawa funkcji neurokognitywnych, napędu, przełamanie lekooporności) oraz poprawy tolerancji (poprawa funkcji seksualnych, ograniczenie przyrostu masy ciała) i być może przyspieszenia efektu przeciwdepresyjnego. Oddzielnym wątkiem jest zastosowanie bupropionu w uzależnieniach. Wobec rosnącej liczby uzależnień, w tym behawioralnych, należy się spodziewać dalszych badań w tym zakresie.
