Abstrakt
Terapia pacjentów z chorobami układu sercowo-naczyniowego często wiąże się z przyjmowaniem przez nich dużej liczby leków. Nierzadko przyczyną braku osiągnięcia celu terapeutycznego jest niestosowanie się chorych do zaleceń, zarówno zmiany stylu życia, jak i konsekwentnej farmakoterapii. Szereg badań klinicznych wykazało skuteczność skojarzeń lekowych w jednej tabletce np. w obniżaniu ciśnienia tętniczego. Zgodnie z aktualnymi wytycznymi Europejskiego Towarzystwa Kardiologicznego w codziennej praktyce klinicznej można spotkać kilka scenariuszy klinicznych ze wskazaniami do jednoczesnego stosowania kwasu acetylosalicylowego i β-adrenolityku. W takich sytuacjach można rozważyć użycie gotowych połączeń dwóch substancji czynnych w jednej kapsułce. Być może pozwoli to uzyskać większy odsetek osób, które będą stosować się do zaleceń lekarskich, przełoży się na wzrost skuteczności w osiąganiu celów terapeutycznych i efektów klinicznych.
