Abstract

Influenza poses a significant threat to public health, and vaccination remains the most effective method for preventing severe illness and complications. This article discusses the effectiveness and safety of influenza vaccinations, the most common patient concerns, and how to address them. It emphasizes the importance of active vaccination recommendations by physicians and other healthcare professionals, as well as the role of specific recommendations based on the patient’s individual risk, combined with the offer of vaccination. Organizational solutions, such as reminders, vaccinations during scheduled appointments, and vaccinations at pharmacies, which can facilitate patient compliance, are also discussed.
