Abstrakt

Rozpoznawanie astmy u dzieci do 5. r.ż. oparte jest na kryteriach klinicznych: obecności objawów obturacji oskrzeli, potwierdzeniu jej odwracalności i braku objawów sugerujących inne rozpoznanie kliniczne. Nowoczesne leczenie opiera się na właściwym i dostosowanym do możliwości pacjenta doborze metody inhalacyjnej i systematyczności; może być ono okresowo modyfikowane w celu uzyskania jak najlepszej kontroli stanu klinicznego dziecka chorego na astmę.
