Abstrakt
Niesteroidowe leki przeciwzapalne (NLPZ) to jedna z najpowszechniej stosowanych i nadużywanych grup leków. Pomimo szerokiej dostępności, w tym również poza ordynacją lekarską, nie są to leki pozbawione działań niepożądanych. Wręcz przeciwnie – nadużywanie NLPZ stwarza ryzyko uszkodzenia wielu układów, w tym układu pokarmowego, wydalniczego, ośrodkowego układu nerwowego i wreszcie układu krążenia. Autorzy artykułu pokrótce omawiają i podkreślają podstawowe zagadnienia dotyczące bezpieczeństwa stosowania NLPZ, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem pacjentów kardiologicznych.
