Fosfomycin as a first-line drug? A two-case study from an internist’s perspective Case report

Abstract
The paper presents the basic principles of treatment of simple, uncomplicated urinary tract infections. The important role and therapeutic efficacy of fosfomycin is showed. Two clinical cases indicating its correct use are discussed and various situations allowing for therapy with this antibiotic are revealed.
