Abstrakt

Zapalenie mięśnia sercowego i spowodowane nim powikłania (tj. kardiomiopatia rozstrzeniowa, niewydolność serca) stanowią obecnie istotny problem kliniczny. W artykule opisano aktualny stan wiedzy na temat rozpoznawania zapalenia mięśnia sercowego, klasyfikacji kliniczno-patomorfologicznej, wykonywanych badań laboratoryjnych, obrazowych i inwazyjnych (w tym biopsji endomiokardialnej). Ponadto przedstawiono podsumowanie obecnego stanu wiedzy na temat leczenia zapalenia mięśnia sercowego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem nowatorskich metod leczenia celowanego.
