Abstrakt

Osiągnięcia w diagnostyce wad zastawkowych serca i rozwój nowych technik zabiegowych powodują, że część zaproponowanych nie tak dawno zaleceń stała się nieaktualna i nadszedł czas na stworzenie nowych rekomendacji postępowania. Dotychczas zalecenia dotyczące postępowania w stenozie aortalnej opierały się na opublikowanych przed kilkoma laty rekomendacjach towarzystw amerykańskich (2006, 2009) i europejskiego (2007). W sierpniu 2012 r. eksperci ESC opublikowali nowe standardy postępowania w przypadku zastawkowych wad serca. Artykuł przedstawia najważniejsze zmiany dotyczące stenozy aortalnej.
