Abstrakt

Powszechnie stosowane w chirurgii zastawki aortalnej i aorty wstępującej mechaniczne protezy powodują konieczność stosowania terapii przeciwkrzepliwej i niosą za sobą ryzyko wystąpienia powikłań. Operacje naprawcze zastawki aortalnej, oparte na dobrze poznanej anatomii i fizjologii lewego ujścia tętniczego, pozwalają zachować prawidłowe struktury zastawki, zmniejszyć ryzyko związane z implantacją mechanicznej protezy, zapewniając długotrwały efekt operacji naprawczej.
