Abstrakt
Operacje naprawcze są obecnie standardem postępowania w chirurgicznym leczeniu niedomykalnej zastawki mitralnej. Chorego można kierować do leczenia operacyjnego dopiero po zapoznaniu się z jego stanem klinicznym, anatomią i zmianami patologicznymi dotyczącymi zastawki mitralnej. Znaczna liczba technik naprawczych pozwala na ich odpowiednie dostosowanie do konkretnej patologii stwierdzanej na stole operacyjnym u konkretnego pacjenta – z dobrym wczesnym i odległym efektem klinicznym. Wzajemne zrozumienie kardiochirurgów i kardiologów dotyczące wyżej wymienionych elementów w ocenie patologii zastawki mitralnej pozwala bowiem wybrać najlepszą z istniejących opcji rekonstrukcji lub wymiany tej zastawki z pozostawieniem części lub całości aparatu podzastawkowego.
